I think I have insomnia but killa game & the Freaky part of the cite is kickin' but when r ya commin' out wit DrugLord3??????
Some stuff I think would be tight as hell for it would be.....gangs that are out to kill you but they also give you jobs that you can accept or deny,to bribe officials with money/weapons/drugs, bodyguards that you can hire/fire,longer gameplay,to make your own stuff but you can get busted,shopping to buy clothes n stuff,more weapons/different types

Yeah.. nice site.. I like the variety and I _love_ the random email list :)
Yet, why not distribute a little source code? Freeware is nice.. you could provide it under the GPL.. it would help many a novice programmer out, it might even get them to learn more, and who knows.. they might write stuff even you can use later :)

The quick answer is that I simply don't have the time to make any source for my stuff available. Finding the correct source, packaging it, documenting it, and maintaining it takes a great deal of time to do properly.

I like Drug Lord, but am still waiting (as I'm sure we all are) on some major inclusions on your next version - whether it should be multiplayer is debatable, but here's what I'd like to see;
1) Rival gangs who are out to kill you / each other plus you can do jobs for them
2) Buy/Sell Property (like Vice City) to gain extra streetcred
3) Bribe officials (port officials, local police, etc)
4) Hire/Fire bodyguards and buy weapons for them (or alternatively they come with weapons/body armour)
5) Hire hitmen and the ability to kill your loanshark
6) Introduction of People smuggling (ie: a family of X wants to get to Y within Z days and will pay $A)
7) Longer game-play
8) Purchase of information (busts, police arrests, etc)
9) Introduction of drug labs to grow your own stuff (gets raided by DEA)
10) Editor (ability to edit the city names, weapon names, gang names, etc)

Hey I have been playing that drug lord game and beat the high score on your site but it won't let me upload it, oh well no biggy, I just wanted to make a suggestion, make this game an online competitive game where you can kill other dealers and the prices of the drugs are actually directly linked with how much is being sold at that given time. A way you could do this I guess is sort of like how another online game does it 1000A.D. It would be incredibly fun and I have a lot of friends that I know would play it just because it would be more competitive. PEACE ~Shevlin 16-m-ny
