Hi,
Thank you very much for sharing parmon.exe

I have been using it for one year for testing some
peripherals (which send pulses to parllel port when user
pushes a button or when user inserts a coin and etc), out of
my softwares. When I see they work in parmon.exe, then I
use them with my compiled codes.

I use inpout32.dll for my projects in Visual Basic.

After a one year work without any problem, something
strange happened:

In some desktop PC's, my inpout32.dll started not to work.

There appears no error messages, but when I give the pulse
to parallel port, I see nothing changed. Then if I run
parmon.exe, everything starts to work. Then when I close
parmon.exe and return to my codes (or compiled exes)
everything goes on working perfectly.

So I have added 2 lines into my code, first to run
parmon.exe at the begining of the program, and the second
to stop parmon.exe via "taskkill" command. That is a work
around solution but I really wonder why does my code work
with some kind of PC's and why not with other kinds
without running parmon.exe for once?

I think there is a code in parmon.exe that activates parallel
port (or trigger something) then everything goes OK.

Any suggestions?

Regards...

Hi Fred. I played Drug Lord as a kid. One of the first games
I got actually, still remember downloading it from some site
on a 56k connection. Now it's 2015, play it on my Android.
Someone made really nice looking copy/port of your game
and it keeps us folks happy. Really wish you release Drug
Lord 3 someday. Keep it simple like this one was and
update it (more days and stuff). Anyway, just wanted to say
- thank you. Wish you all the best.

How to run Drug Lord 2 on Windows Vista/7/8

You have to right click and run as administrator along with running compatibility settings, working with Windows XP service pack 2 setting.

I played this years ago on Windows Me and dug this out of my archive backups.

Good site by the way man.

Hi,
You have a very nice Website. Also the idea with IO.DLL is very good. But at the Moment I have it in the compiler but don't know how I have to bring it to work.
